Normal Day

Tuesday began like any other day, up at 6 am, shower, wake kids up, get dressed, make lunches, make breakfast, rush to get everyone in the car, get Abby to day care by 7:15 am, drop off kids at school and off to work arriving by 8:30 am. Work all day, quick lunch and a trip to Wal Mart to pick up diapers. Return to work, leave around 5:45, sit in traffic, talk to family and friends, eat dinner at my in-laws, clean all the dishes, get home for baths and any remaining homework, brush teeth and tuck the little ones into bed. Finally try and have an adult conversation with my husband before one of us heads off to sleep while the other is still talking. Wow I am tired just thinking about it. Here is a quick picture of the kids last month!!

1st day of school

I am now officially a mother of a second grader, pre-kindergartner and a toddler. Isabella started second grade this week at a new school and is loving it. I think I was more nervous then she was. Aaron is at the same school in pre-k and loving every minute. Abby is still at Becky's our day care provider and we love her, and they love Abby. Life goes so fast, I continually try to remember and appreciate each day because before I know it I will be writing about someone graduating.

Chicken Pox

It's Friday morning and Isabella's rash/bites are still bothering her, started on Tuesday. I take her to the Dr.'s this morning and yes, she has a mild case of chicken pox. YIKES, who has she been around for the last week, who hasn't had their vaccine. I call the school and no one else has reported chicken pox. So now were home, I am on the Internet looking up all the info, how contagious: VERY CONTAGIOUS. Wondering will the other kids get it?? They both have had their vaccines, but so did Isabella. O' the joys of Motherhood. Overall Isabella is fine she only has about 10 breakouts. So the Dr. said she should fine by Monday and return to school since it broke out on Tuesday and should only last 5-7 days since it is a very mild case. So we will be home this weekend, not doing much.
